Our school community came together for a moving ANZAC Day Assembly to honour and remember the courage, service and sacrifice of the men and women who have served our country.
The assembly provided students, staff and families with an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of ANZAC Day and the importance of remembrance. Students listened respectfully as the story of the ANZACs was shared, helping them understand the values of bravery, mateship, resilience and service.
A special thank you to our student leaders, who did a wonderful job leading the assembly with confidence and respect. The laying of the wreath, the playing of The Last Post, and the minute’s silence were powerful moments of reflection for everyone in attendance.
We are very proud of the way our students showed respect throughout the assembly and engaged with such an important part of Australia’s history.
Lest we forget.
